Participating at the 31st EuroClio Annual Conference: Patterns in History?

We were honored to attend and present at the 31st Annual Conference Patterns in History?, organized by the European Association of History Educators (EuroClio). The conference brought together educators, researchers, and institutions from across Europe to reflect on historical narratives and their relevance in today’s classrooms.

Our team was invited to present the Korean and Eastern Bloc Institute and our ongoing project exploring the complex relationships between Korea and the former Eastern Bloc during the Cold War. The presentation was met with great interest, and we appreciated the opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow educators and historians.

We are especially pleased to share that we have been invited to collaborate on the development of new educational materials related to the Korean War. This initiative is coordinated by Professor Jongwoo Han of the Korean War Veterans Digital Memorial, and we look forward to contributing to this meaningful project aimed at bringing more global perspectives into the teaching of 20th-century history.

Our sincere thanks go to EuroClio for hosting such an inspiring and engaging event, and we are excited about the opportunities for future cooperation.
