On May 16, 2025, a collaborative workshop took place between the Korea and the Eastern Bloc Institute of the Charles University and theKWO Korean War-memorial Organization (KWO). The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to introduce the mission and ongoing activities of the KWO.
During the event, professor Miriam Löwensteinová, Lukáš Kubík, and Karolína Šamánková presented their current work. In recognition of their contributions, professor Löwensteinová and Karolína Šamánková were formally welcomed as new members of the KWO International Advisory Board, joining Lukáš Kubík, who has been standing member since last year.
The workshop concluded with a friendly informal gathering, during which participants discussed future avenues for academic exchange and cooperation. This event marks an important step toward strengthening international research networks and deepening the collaboration between Korean Studies at Charles University and the KWO.
