Graduate student of Korean Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. She is interested in modern history, politics and cinema on the Korean peninsula. In the past, she has focused on South Korean cinema of the 1950s in the context of the political situation of that time. She has now moved on to research Korean organized crime and its representation in films. At the same time, she is working on her Korean language skills, both theoretically and practically, and would like to work as an interpreter in the near future.
